Our church has been very involved in construction mission projects
for the past several years.
The NOMADS program offers persons with
recreational vehicles the opportunity to share their time and skills
in United Methodist projects, including churches, camps, mission
agencies, and local neighborhoods. We have several church
members that actively participate in this mission each year.
For further information on this very worthwhile project, please
visit the NOMADS
website.
The Partners In Mission program exists
to educate, equip and support the people of the Texas Annual
Conference in response to the invitation of local, national and
international Methodist churches in partnership through hands on
ministry. Our task is what we do with our abilities—from
moving soil, laying bricks, mixing cement, painting, carpentry work,
teaching Vacation Bible School to participating in medical missions.
Our task should always be secondary to our purpose of sharing
Christ’s love in ways that make a Christian difference. For further information, please visit
the Partners In Mission
website.
In 2005, in conjunction with other churches,
our team participated in the Four Corners construction project in Shiprock, NM. This project was to help finish the construction
of a day care center on the Navajo reservation, as well as, provide
vacation bible school for Navajo children in Cove, AZ.
We held a talent show fundraiser to help
with our future mission projects.

2005, as well as, our recent talent show:
